The Result of Necessity
Long distance travel has become part of our lives. We visit family members, visit national and state parks, go fishing, camping, hiking, boating, and have a lot of fun. However, everywhere we go, our shoulder and neck pain start to remind us that even priceless memory comes at a price. To relief our pain, we tried many traditional U-shaped pillows; none of them completely fit our needs. They were often too small, too large, too ridged, or too soft. They didn’t provide the support where we needed it the most. Designing and making our own pillow was the result of necessity. After months of design and redesign, testing, collecting feedbacks, and making bags of different style pillows, Sunshine Pillow was born. Our family cannot live without our lovely pillows. We use them all the time, watching TV, reading a book, and riding the car or traveling on airplanes. We even rest on our pillows while lying on beaches. Surprisingly, Sunshine Pillow quickly became a favorite among our friends, and is a delightful Christmas gift.
Sunshine Pillows is active in community services.

"I got one of these pillows when I was pregnant. I was having to go to the chiropractor at least once a week. My neck would go out and then I would get awful migraines. So when I got one of these pillows my neck felt so much better. It is meant for sleeping in a reclined position. However I sleep with it both reclining and flat. It is so comfy I even sleep on my side with it. It is the only pillow I take when I travel. This pillow has paid for itself with less chiropractor visits. I like this pillow so much that I got a a few more for friends for Christmas. I still use mine all the time even after baby was born.
When they have a sale, I got an extra in case mine ever wares out. I have had my first one for almost a year. It does slightly loose shape over time, but It has a zipper so you can fluff it up again and you are good to go." Cindy Melashenko on March 5, 2013
"We bought 4 of these pillows for a recent 6 hour flight. The pillows worked great for each traveller which included one child, a teen and two adults. The material is very soft and the design actually supports the head and neck when dozing compared to other neck pillows which are not thick or firm enough. The key is the thickness on the back and sides of the pillow which other pillows are lacking. Tried an inflatable pillow and it was a complete failure. No more sleeping whiplash with this one. Used it when not sleeping too and it was very comfortable compared to the crummy alignment of airline seats. The zipper is a plus as it alllows for adding stuffing available at a craft store if it packs down or if extra firmness is desired. These pillows will be part of our standard packing list from now on. I give this product 5 stars." By BT August 2013
"This microwave shoulder heating pad is well build, it stays warm for a long time. I heat this shoulder pad in the microwave oven for 3 minutes. It is hot enough that can burn your skin if not careful. For first time users I suggest heat it for 2 minutes then if it is not hot enough then 30 seconds there after until it is hot enough for you. The shoulder pad is not heavy, it is light for my shoulder. There is a smell after the first few times but after a while the smell is not noticeable. After searching for a good microwave shoulder heating pad I have decided on this one. It works great for me." By on January 11, 2013
