"My husband and I have both been using this shoulder warmer but in different ways. I am using it heated and he uses it cold. I love that it reaches areas that a conventional heating pad can't reach which is the top of my shoulders and the bottom of my neck area. The heat really does last quite awhile before I have to get up to reheat it again. Hubby has been using it too but he prefers it cold so we place it into the freezer for an hour and it does indeed remain cold for 2-3 hours.
